yamaha dtxplorer questions?
so I want the yamaha dtxplorer but I wanted to ask a few questions 1 does it have extra plugs so I can add cymbals, pads, etc? 2 is it a lot like the dtx500k (I played the dtx500k at a shop but I havent tried the dtxplorer) 3 I have been playing on a rubbish drum kit for years, is this kit going to make me happy for a long time to come? 4 is it worth its money??? 5 does it sound good with simple computer speakers? thanks for help
I just got a Yamaha DTXplorer just before Easter and I can answer your questions. 1. You can add one extra pad or cymbal without using a splitter cable. 2. The DTX500k is the successor to the DTXplorer so yes it is the same except the module is all black and it comes with 60 pre-set kits. 3. This kit is going to keep you very very happy for a long time to come and it does not break like the Roland HD-1. 4. It is definitly worth your money. I would get it used. 5. You will be able to hear sounds from your computer speakers Hope I have answered all your questions.
