i need help with cymbals!?
i am a hardcore drummer, more into the screamo/grindcore stuff with the hard hitting of cymbals and fast bass beats. But my cymbals are the zbt 4 pro pack but they dont sound...hardcore enough. and i need 2 know what a good like...cymbal pack or just individual crash or ride or hi hats or special effects cymbals are. something that sounds like hardcore and rockish. so that would help alot! thanks
If you get paiste get the top of the line, which are nice and thick. The ufip tiger range are a nice brutal sounding cymbal. Stay away from Sabian as they are a more punk rock sound, and zildjan are only for old dorky session drummers who don't even try to hit thier cymbals. I play in a hardcore band and i use Paiste PST5 high hats and ride and a ufip crash. You should integrate some jam block/cow bells into your beats they sounds brutal in a hardcore chorus or breakdown (Every Time I Die styles), and they are cheap!
