How do you use the Hart Dynamics acoustic Drum mesh heads?
I purchased the Hart Dynamics mesh heads for my acoustic drum kit to convert it into an electronic kit. My technical question is regarding to how to use it. I have install it and there's no problem there, but the mesh stretched out already. So i'm wondering if there are special beaters to be used with bass pedals, and/or if i need to stuff or fill the bass drum somehow. If you guys have any ideas or have any experience in acoustic to electronic drum kit convertion, I'll welcome all of your suggestions. Thank You
You may be tuning them too tight. I would certainly use a felt beater, not wood, plastic, etc. A harder type of bass drum beater is for tone which isn't an issue when triggering. I have many years of experience at triggering so any other questions you have just post them and I'll help as much as I can. If you haven't already purchased triggers I would suggest ddrum Pro triggers (not redshot).
