What new drum set should I buy?
These sets are virtually identical except their hardware. One has OSP and one has upgraded custom classic. Im leaning toward custom classic cuz the way they advertise the OSP makes it sound a bit more like a free cheapy. This question is ONLY for real drummers who know what theyre talking about. I say Custom Classic. You'll notice a lot of online drum sets have OSP Hardware thrown in to make it look like a good deal but you're absolutely right, it'll just be a cheap set. Be careful about the Classics too though, there have been a couple users who have complained about the paint peeling like this guy and his new custom toms: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2162381/custom_classic_drums_another_fluke.html He says that although the paint was a bit edgy that they "Are some of the best toms I've played on." and, "Despite quite a few hardware issues, I would recommend these pieces to any drummer looking to expand their kit on a budget."
