i have a paiste alpha 20 inch rock crash a meinl mcs 20 inch ride and a zildjian a custom 16 in medium crash.
i play hard on my cymbals.
I was wondering if i should hit them with the shaft of my stick. or the end?
because my drum teacher always told me the end. which kinda hurts my hands.
but, my favorite drummers use the shaft.
which way do i hit them?
i want a real glassy hard sound
just go by feel.
