Michael Pearl, originator of No Greater Joy Ministries together with his wife Debi, was raised by God-fearing mother and father in their residence in Tennessee. As a result of his parents’ strong desire to position him in the direction of the appropriate route, Michael was quite involved with evangelism during his youth. While operating in the Memphis Union Mission, he did ministry tasks in numerous hospitals and also churches for the many military households who were living in Memphis. Also he was a pastor in church buildings at that time.

About twenty years ago, Michael Pearl and his skillful wife moved to the rural area of Tennessee, doing Bible research in the neighborhood homes.
