The Story of Michael Pearl and His Beliefs

The co-originator of No Greater Joy Ministries, Michael Pearl along with his wife Debi, was reared by God-fearing parents inside their household in Tennessee. Due to his parents’ strong desire to point him in the direction of the right life choices, Michael was quite involved with evangelism during his youth. Though working in the Memphis Union Mission, he did ministry jobs in a number of hospitals and also churches for the numerous military families who stayed in Memphis. Also he was a preacher in churches at that time.

About 20 years ago, Michael Pearl and his fantastic wife moved to the rural portion of Tennessee, holding Bible research in the neighborhood houses. Shortly after, regular gatherings began to be held by the neighborhood believers. Also at that time, Michael commenced his jail ministry, a practice that he continually does to this day. Quickly it became apparent that God was orchestrating His personal programs for the team, specifically to make reading material concentrated on rearing children effectively and setting up lasting family relationships, a calling which the couple has readily accepted. This has been the basis in the “No Greater Joy Ministries.” Their greatest task thus far is the illustrated Bible for all ages, “Good and Evil,” that's at this time in the process of being translated into 100 distinct languages. To this point, this comic may be bought in more than 30 different languages.

Michael and his wife Debi have also created a number of publications where they supply advice regarding how mothers and fathers can bring up their kids in the direction of the course God desires them to go, and how to keep their family members morally upright. Guidance is also provided to partners regarding the ways to improve their marriages with God in the center of the marriage relationship. Having successfully reared productive kids of their own, Michael and Debi Pearl only wish to share what they have accomplished for their own lives to other families to ensure that they also can have the delight of living enjoyably in God’s will.
