How much is this rodgers snare drum worth?
I don't know what year but it's definitely vintage. It's not gold more of a champagne glitter on it. The snares are the only unoriginal part. It's a powertone and in decent condition. It also has remo weather king heads. Also in decent condition. Is there anyone that knows the value?
Find a store that is specifically for drums/percussion. They are usually smaller and provide space for drum teachers. Look around first and maybe talk to the owner. These are usually a one man operation with maybe one employee.
After they know you, take the snare in and see if they can tell you anything about it. They might be able to tell you the year and would give you an honest answer on the value. Value is two things - buy value and sell value. What someone would pay you for it, to resell and what you could sell it for on your own. Never take it to a pawn shop. You will not get an honest answer. You will only get the buy value and what they tell you is typically 50% of what any other reseller (like the small drum shop) would pay you for it.
Think how you acquired the snare and did it take any position in your drumming life. I was given a vintage Premier snare from a guy that picked it up at a garage sale. He didn't need it and just gave it to me. This was my beginning in drumming. My Premier will never be sold 
it means a lot to me.
