Help with LOGIC PRO 7????
I have a triggered drum set that plugs in to a trigger-to-MIDI converter that I am usig in Logic Pro 7. The problem that I am having is with the Hi-hat open and close features.. I am able to put all of my Hi-hat sounds in one group and set the voices tab to 1, which works great... But it wont let me keep the hi-hat closed when I push the hi-hat pedal down... I have tried all kinds of key commands, but it still won't work. Is there anyone out there that can help??

Is it an electronic kit? Does the hi-hat controller plug into the "brain"?
What are you trying to do? Are you recording the Midi data and play it back?
It's possible that the hi-hat "pedal down" info is not sent out with the Midi note data. Try this: Put an empty track into record in Logic, step on the hi-hat controller, but do not strike it with a stick or do anything else. See if any data gets recorded.
You could also look in the Midi implementation chart in the back of the manual for your electronic kit. That should tell you what all the note and CC numbers are.
Maybe you could insert the proper CC number into the Midi track to make it work.
To go further, I would need more specific info.
