What's a good price for my drum set? 10 pts. Best answer!!!?
I want to sell my entry level Ludwig accent pro drumset. The kit Runs new for $500-$600 ish with all of the components that I am selling. I am the 2nd owner of this kit. It comes as a 5 piece kit with a 18" zildjian zbt crash/ride and a 10" zbt splash. It includes all stock hardware and fairly new remo pinstripe heads on the toms. The one flaw is a split in the wrap on the bass drum (which is hard to see with the toms mounted) and a slight ripple on the resonant bass drum head. I'm thinking of selling to one of my neighbors or on craigslist and I have no idea what I should charge for the kit. Thanks so much I'll vote someone best answer if you star this question.
well entry level kits dont sell for very much. furthermore, yours doesnt even sound like a complete kit. its missing hi hats, plus who knows what else. but assuming you have everything else, i would estimate 300-400$. 400 on a good day. the wraps wont drop the price too much, unless the buyer is extremely picky. but wraps in general tend to warp with age. the new heads dont do much for the price either. the cymbals suck, and youre missing the hats, so that might drop the price. i think 300 would be a fair deal, but if youre CLing it, you might as well try your luck at 400$. i just bought a nice pearl vision with complete cymbals and decent hardware for 400, so you can use that as a base. good luck!
